TINKER is a non-profit organization working to eliminate the biases that deter young women from becoming engineers. We establish engineering summer programs for high school girls on university campuses that break down the gender gap barrier.
Developed by female engineers, our curriculum allows girls to explore, create, and TINKER with real world engineering! Register for a camp today!
Our first program was held at the University at Buffalo in 2015. In 2016, TINKER offered summer camps at SUNY New Paltz and the University at Buffalo. We have now successfully hosted 6 TINKER programs. In addition to our summer programs, TINKER is expanding into hosting TINKER Days, a free afternoon of exploring engineering for middle school girls!
