Who We Are

TINKER is a non-profit organization working to eliminate the biases that deter young women from becoming engineers. We establish engineering summer programs for high school girls on university campuses that break down the gender gap barrier.

Developed by female engineers, our curriculum allows girls to explore, create, and TINKER with real world engineering! Register for a camp today!

Our first program was held at the University at Buffalo in 2015. In 2016, TINKER offered summer camps at SUNY New Paltz and the University at Buffalo. We are now in the process of designing our 3rd annual TINKER program at UB for this August.

The 2018 Buffalo TINKER camp will take place from Monday, August 6th through Friday, August 10th. Registration will open in April - if you'd like to be put on the email list, please email tinkerinformation@gmail.com.
